Rachel Francis

Office Manager

Rachel first joined Blink in 2016. Her career in Optometry began in the Philadelphia area as an optician where she earned her ABO certification and honed her skills in frame repair, frame selection, specialty lens work, and lens edging. Since working at Blink, Rachel has been trained as a vision therapist, sports vision therapist, optometric technician, and orthokeratology technician. She has also earned her advanced certification in opticianry through the American Board of Opticianry. Her attention to detail, efficiency, and people skills play a huge part in her career today. She is most passionate about patient care and will be sure your experience at Blink is seamless and enjoyable. When she is away from Blink you can catch Rachel on stage as the lead singer in her two bands, New Local and Tell Me Lies: The Fleetwood Mac Experience.

Stacey Paguaga

Optical Manager

Stacey has been in the optical industry since 1994 and has been part of the Blink Eyecare team since December 2014. Prior to joining Blink, she worked as an optician on Long Island, where she earned her Optician’s License and ABO certification. Stacey’s expertise spans frame selection, progressive lens fittings, and shooting and safety glasses. She has a strong work ethic and is always striving for perfection, ensuring that her patients are happy and well taken care of. Stacey is passionate about changing lives through the power of glasses, making every patient’s experience truly exceptional. When she’s not in the office, Stacey enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her dogs, Barkley and Charlie.

Allison Alexander​​​​​​​

Special Services Coordinator, Receptionist

Allison has over 30 years of experience in the medical field and over 20 years in the Optometry/Ophthalmology field. Along with her extensive knowledge, she also brings her remarkable people skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills to the Blink team. She is someone we can always count on and her vast set of skills allows her to pitch in wherever needed. In addition to reception, Allison also serves as our Special Services Coordinator which includes managing our Ortho-K program as well as our low-level light therapy program. Allison loves spending time with her husband, daughter, son, friends, and her dogs. She also loves to travel and enjoy live music.

Maria Martin​​​​​​​

Optometric Technician

Maria started at Blink in 2020 after graduating from UNCC with a degree in Spanish and concentration in literature. In 2022 Maria became a certified Paraoptometric technician. She is caring and thorough and gives our patients a sense of comfort. Being bilingual, Maria can offer all testing in Spanish as well as interpret during the entire exam. When not at Blink, Maria loves to spend time with her husband and their fat kitty cat!

Frida Montalvo

Optometric Technician

Frida joined our team in June 2021 but has been helping patients with their visual needs since 2017. Frida is attentive, kind, and has great attention to detail. Her calming presence puts any patient at ease. She is fluent in both English and Spanish. In her spare time, Frida loves spending time with family and eating sushi!

Yosberani Cadena

Optometric Technician

Yosberani joined the Blink family in February 2022. She came to the team with 5 years of experience as an optometric technician. She is fluent in both English and Spanish. Yosberani is smart and hard working. She will always make sure her patients are well taken care of and comfortable. When she isn’t working, Yosberani likes to travel and spend time with her family.

Abby

Abby joined the Blink Eyecare team in November 2023, bringing over 10 years of customer service experience. As part of our front desk staff, she excels in making patients feel comfortable, clearly explaining appointments and insurance details, and answering any questions with a warm, friendly approach. Abby is dedicated to ensuring every patient leaves satisfied and with a smile. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time at church and riding dirt bikes at the track with her husband.

Candie

Optometric Technician

Candie joined Blink Eyecare in March 2024, bringing 6 years of experience in eyecare. She is passionate about helping patients improve their vision and overall eye health. Known for being friendly, smart, efficient, organized, and dependable, Candie provides exceptional patient care with a warm and professional approach. Outside of work, Candie loves to travel with her family, friends, and dogs. Her dedication to patient care and her love for adventure with loved ones provide her with a perfect balance in life.

Meredith

Optician

Meredith joined Blink Eyecare in 2023 and has been an optician since 2014. She has a passion for helping patients find the perfect frame and stays current with the latest styles and trends in eyewear. Her dedication to personalized care ensures that every patient leaves feeling confident in their choice. Outside of work, Meredith runs her own cleaning business and stays busy with her 7-year-old son, Landon. She enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and is a fan of all things sports-related.
